All about my career...

I was 8 years old when someone took my portrait in their backyard with a professional camera. That is the first memory I have of feeling seen in a way I hadn't before. That ignited something in me to want to explore the world of photography. So I played around with our family point and shoot camera, eventually getting my own digital camera at 15 years old (I cried, I was so happy). When I was 16, I traveled to Dallas, TX to attend a photography basics class. Education back then isn't what it is now, so I didn't come away with much, sadly. So most of my learning has come from hands-on experience, online courses, learning from the best educators and local photography friends. With the help of my parents, I went and bought my first professional camera and it was an amazing investment and upped my photography game to a whole new level.

I've photographed almost everything under the sun, which has not only been an incredible experience, but given me ample opportunities to work with all kinds of people from all over the world.

I have worked for multiple local businesses such as Fabulous Frocks, The Cottage Rose, Bronzed & Blushed, Wild Hill Flowers & Events, and more.

I've also flown across the country and across the world working for Athletes in Action in London, New York, Louisiana and Ohio, photographing professional athletes, including Olympians. It's been an honor and privilege to be in this line of work for so long.

But honestly? None of that comes close to matching the joys and blessings of being a wife and mother, and knowing my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. God's goodness and faithfulness in my life is so abundant and it humbles me every single day and Jesus is the greatest gift of all.
